We and Chris Green  have been working together for 5 years. In that time we've released many notable singles such as “Like Yo” and “Party Crashers”.  We also have released two full projects; “The Puzzle EP” and “The Leftovers”. Here we have joined forces again to release "BREATHE". The EP contains 10 tracks entirely produced by us The Quarter Inch Kings, and mixed by PhameOne. The project's production is parallel to that of the 90’s Boom Bap era, but executed with a modern flare. The content of the material varies also from the overly cocky “Just Know” to the very conceptual “Question My Blackness”; in other words there is something for everyone. If you are a fan of our previous work you'll be able to appreciate the our ability to grow, but at the same time  how we've stayed true to our roots. If you’re a first time listener and consider yourself to be a fan of hip hop this is a guaranteed addition to your collection.

Two years ago Chris Puzzle Green and The Quarter Inch Kings released their first collaborative project "The Puzzle Ep".

Since then they have released numerous singles, videos and are now preparing to release a second EP (early 2014). In the meantime

Gearing up for the final tape of the M.I.C. Series (Vol. 7) TopLeft Recordings has decided to release dj packs for some of the songs that will be featured on the tape. The first of these is Puzzle's "Not The One" and after being featured on several of the M.I.C. Series projects (Vol. 1 / Vol. 2 / Vol. 6) he makes his fourth appearance which is produced by The Quarter Inch Kings. Only fitting since The Quarter Inch Kings have worked with TopLeft Recordings for the entire M.I.C. series and also been long time collaborators with Puzzle (Chris Green). We've combined again to bring our distinctive boom bap sound with Puzz's melodic flows, and punch lines to the tape. Also be sure to download M.I.C Vol. 7 where Puzzle makes a second appearance on the project! Prelude to Talksick's "The Weapon" LP

It's been awhile since we've posted anything because we've been hard at work finishing up Talksick's debut LP "The Weapon". I'm not gonna get into a whole big bio/intro for him, but if you've ever heard of Empire or The S.A.R.S. Network chances are you've heard him before. Hell if you've been following us you definitely have. He appeared on Puzzle's "The Puzzle EP", Caution's "Welcome To The Smoke Show" LP, and on "Not Yet Rated" Puzzle & Paradox's LP. and as we get ready to release the first single "Deja Vu" from "The Weapon" we figured we'd get you all re-acquainted or acquainted with Talksick over some Quarter Inch Kings backdrops. So with Thanksgiving past and the holiday season fast approaching we've decided to give you some of our Leftovers. The video shows you a verse from each song (You'll Know Me, Listen Boy, Put It In The Air) found in the triple dj pack we titled Leftovers. These songs are "leftovers" from The Puzzle EP that never made the project. We just decided to share em and each song's dj pack includes the Street, Clean, Instrumental, and Acapella version.  The Quarter Inch Kings in conjunction with Dope Comma are proud to announce the release of their first all instrumental album titled  “Kingstrumentals”.The digital release is a collection of instrumental versions of previously released material produced by  the Toronto based Hip Hop production duo, TymE and
