 "8,7,6,5" is the new single from Canadian music veterans Jeff Spec (vocals) and The Quarter Inch Kings (production). We and Chris Green  have been working together for 5 years. In that time we've released many notable singles such as “Like Yo” and “Party Crashers”.  We also have released two full projects; “The Puzzle EP” and “The Leftovers”. Here we have joined forces again to release "BREATHE". The EP contains 10 tracks entirely produced by us The Quarter Inch Kings, and mixed by PhameOne. The project's production is parallel to that of the 90’s Boom Bap era, but executed with a modern flare. The content of the material varies also from the overly cocky “Just Know” to the very conceptual “Question My Blackness”; in other words there is something for everyone. If you are a fan of our previous work you'll be able to appreciate the our ability to grow, but at the same time  how we've stayed true to our roots. If you’re a first time listener and consider yourself to be a fan of hip hop this is a guaranteed addition to your collection.
