It's been 12 years since Toronto's Talksick first debuted on Empire's "Runamuk: The Intro" LP. Since then he's been featured on countless songs and mixtape joints but never on his own project; until now. "The Weapon" is now here, 15 tracks prod by The Quarter Inch Kings mixed by PhameOne The Pro Tools Bully and features fellow S.A.R.S Network crew members T.R.A. and Caution,  Adam Bomb (Empire, Freedom Writers, NBS) the legendary Dj Grouch as well as Sean P (Duckdown). To highlight the release Talksick has also released a video for the second single "Dungeon Rap"  which is directed by Lyme Lyte Video. A upcoming third single and video will be chosen by the public. Prelude to Talksick's "The Weapon" LP

It's been awhile since we've posted anything because we've been hard at work finishing up Talksick's debut LP "The Weapon". I'm not gonna get into a whole big bio/intro for him, but if you've ever heard of Empire or The S.A.R.S. Network chances are you've heard him before. Hell if you've been following us you definitely have. He appeared on Puzzle's "The Puzzle EP", Caution's "Welcome To The Smoke Show" LP, and on "Not Yet Rated" Puzzle & Paradox's LP. and as we get ready to release the first single "Deja Vu" from "The Weapon" we figured we'd get you all re-acquainted or acquainted with Talksick over some Quarter Inch Kings backdrops. All three of these joints were mixed by "The Pro Tools Bully" PhameOne. All links below; and keep your eyes and ears open for Deja Vu. The Weapon is coming...

The Quarter Inch Kings - Kingstrumentals

 The Quarter Inch Kings in conjunction with Dope Comma are proud to announce the release of their first all instrumental album titled  “Kingstrumentals”.The digital release is a collection of instrumental versions of previously released material produced by  the Toronto based Hip Hop production duo, TymE and
Verbs, collectively known as The Quarter Inch Kings. The 18-song album also includes additional content with web links for videos, artist links, and where the original songs are available. To commemorate the first installment of “Kingstrumentals”, Dope Comma is holding an online contest for emcees worldwide to enter for a free beat produced us. Caution ft DJ Grouch - On The Corner Official Video

 So here it is, the video for Caution's "On The Corner" ft DJ Grouch. In the video Caution takes you to the “Corner” as he makes his rounds across the city of Toronto and hits up the ScratchLab the infamous head quarters of DJ Grouch. The video is directed by Lyme Lyte and is the first official video from "Welcome to the Smoke Show" album which is set for release April 20th. The SARS Network is putting on a release party @ Tota Lounge 592 Queen St W on the 20th make sure to check it out.The DJ Pack Link is below make sure to D/L. Caution ft DJ Grouch - On The Corner prod by The Quarter Inch Kings

So here is a next joint from The SARS Network's Caution ft DJ Grouch on the cuts (I gotta really thank him for blessing the track much appreciated,)and "The Pro Tools Bully" PhameOne on the mix. "On The Corner" is the first single from Caution's debut album "Welcome To The Smoke Show" being released 4/20/12 all the production being handled by us. In the song, he explains his life "On The Corner" and describes what he has seen. The street is very important to the roots of an underground artist so Caution is paying homage to that fact. Below is a download link for the DJ Pack containing street, clean, instrumental, and acapella for all the producers and DJ's out there. Caution - 40 Bars of Terror

 

Scarborough native Caution aka "Smokeshow Jenkins" of the The SARS Network is here! He and the SARS Network team up with Lyme Lyte Video to bring you "40 Bars Of Terror". This is the first song/video from Caution's upcoming  EP "Welcome To The Smokeshow" (APRIL 2012).
